Tegenungan Waterfall – Bali
The Tegenungan Waterfall is located in the Gianyar region, between the villages of Tegenungan and Blangsing, so the second name can be found on the maps – Blangsinga Waterfall. This is one of the most conveniently located waterfalls in Bali, which explains its popularity with tourists.
The Tegenungan Waterfall is about 15 meters high
The falling watercourse is quite wide and powerful, becoming more abundant in the rainy season, which runs from November to March. You can admire not only on foot, but also from a height: a good view opens from the side of the local cafes before descending to the Tegenungan Waterfall.
A staircase with 170 steps leads to Tegenungan, in front of which there are souvenir shops and restaurants.
How to get to Tegenungan Waterfall
The best way to reach Tegenungan Waterfall is by renting a scooter or car. Drive near Ubud – only 11 km from the city center. From Denpasar – 22 km, from Seminyak and Kuta already about 30 km.
