What awaits you
Walking through the heart of Tbilisi with my soul My main goal is to show you Tbilisi as the people of Tbilisi know and love it. We will look into traditional “Italian” courtyards and observe their colorful life, talk about Georgian traditions and cheerful city stories. You will enjoy the aroma and taste of warm bread in a secret 15th century bakery, see curious Georgian grandmothers on lace balconies and, of course, appreciate the tastes that are symbols of the city and country: the program includes churchkhela tasting from Kakheti and wine “therapy” in the cellar.
Not boring acquaintance with the sights
The route will cover all the must-see places of ancient Tiflis and modern Tbilisi. I will explain the uniqueness of the Old City Hall on Freedom Square, tell you about the patron saint of the country and the historical neighborhood of religions in Tbilisi – you will see the Catholic Cathedral of St. Mary, old synagogues, Juma Mosque and the Armenian Church of Norasheni. Also, consider the architecture of Sioni Cathedral , where the cross of St. Nino is kept.
We will walk along the modern Peace Bridge – I will tell you about its symbolism – and in Rike Park, which repeats the map of Georgia in shape, we will take the cable car and fly to the Narikala fortress in a couple of minutes. You will admire one of the best panoramas of Tbilisi and “get acquainted” with Mother Georgia, and going downstairs, you will find a real waterfall in the center of the city and touch the sources of Tiflis in the area of Sulfur Baths.
